“Esperanza” Evangelical Church was started January 2000 to share the Gospel with disabled persons, their families, the Foundation’s staff, and the surrounding community. Currently, 60 regular members, of which 20% are disabled, attend the Church.
The Vision is:
“To be a Church that grows in God’s truth and love together with persons with special needs.”
The Mission is:
“Found a church every 5 years and adopt or support a missionary every year.”
In 2005 a new daughter church was started in the “Faldas del Pichincha”. Every 5 years this church also plans to plant a new church.
One volunteer that visited the Camp Hope Foundation made a donation for a building for the main church that functions in the Foundation.
